Dear Leigh, I have been kept glued to your new book, a precious gift to humanity. The narrative enticing, magnificent and vibrant wth immidiate clarity of sentiments, and eloquence of style which, to me, has a musical effect given by the sequence of words harmoniously placed while telling the story. The interest is kept alive and wanting more and more. While I jump from one paragraph to another with refreshed energy and curiosity, soon one sentence jumps out to me: "It is with great sadness but with  profound appreciation that we all know what an artful path toward death looks like."  ... and 900 gifts of vision to us... G R A Z I E. ~ Annamaria

I loved your inscription and am still just blown away by all of it -- the art itself, the book of the art, and the personalized art. It's hard for me (the writer, ha!) to find the words, but when I see your art, it makes me want to write... Many thanks for the gift you give all of us in bringing those inner parts of our souls out into the light, where we can see them, recognize them, and embrace and even celebrate them.

Your card brought a big smile to my face and warmth to my heart. Then I looked at it under a magnifying glass and was blown away. So wonderful and playful and thoughtful all at the same time. You too are an inspiration. The creativity and candor in your work shows emotion at it's best. It is truly from a place of strength within. ~ Chaz

What a delicious treat it was to curl up in bed with your book.   I had no idea that it was also such a written story. This was quite an undertaking and was way more than I had imagined.  I am going to savor each page. You have such an amazing way of looking at things, interpreting the world and of seeing people for what they are inside. ~ April

Thank you for sharing the story of the challenges of connecting with other people, especially Edward who has such an enormous universe in his head.  All 900 lives have their own universes also, but we have miraculously come in contact through your artistic creation.  And also, thank you for the bonus drawing, I love the fabulous detail and will frame it to remind me to slow down and reduce the clutter, or enjoy the clutter/chaos. ~ Carl

Has anyone told you lately that you're an extraordinarily creative, not to mention skillful, person?!?  I don't think I've ever met someone who could take a card file from a Goodwill store, mix that with a neighborhood saga of entwined lives, and come out with large collection of pen and ink drawings that (to me at least) express movement and passages in a remarkable variety of ways.  And you did 10 of these a day?! Neither Diane nor I have ever seen a work like this, it's just stunningly original. ...thanks for this unusual book, as well as for the customized illustrations about us.
~ Peter and Diane
